Who we are

Two sides of the same local job.

Need a Hand? helps Sydney customers find providers who are available nearby. Providers choose when they are visible and which requests to accept. The job record connects the request, updates and completion.

Working hypotheses, not research findings. These mindsets are design assumptions to validate through customer and provider interviews and actual platform use.

Why it matters

Straight answers

Things you may want to know.

Are all providers verified?

Provider applications and submitted documents are reviewed separately. A provider's profile shows available verification information. Check the profile and confirm that the provider is suitable for your specific job.

What if nobody is available?

The live search tells you when no approved provider in your chosen trade is available within range. You can try another service or search again later.

Do providers pay for leads?

Providers are not charged for an enquiry that never becomes completed work. Platform charges are linked to completed jobs; the applicable amount is shown in the booking and payment flow.

How does payment work?

Completion evidence and a proposed final amount stay with the job. The customer reviews the amount before paying through the platform.
