Need a Hand? facilitates marketplace introductions and operational workflows between customers and independent service providers. Providers are responsible for carrying out the services they accept.

Provider verification

A verification badge or approved status means the platform has completed the applicable review steps for the information or documents recorded at that time. It does not guarantee future validity, workmanship, availability, suitability or the outcome of a particular job.

Licences and regulated work

For regulated service categories, the platform uses licence or permit verification as an eligibility control. Customers and providers should still ensure that the person performing the work is appropriately authorised for the specific work required.

Availability, distance and location

Availability and distance depend on provider confirmations, device location and network information and may not always be exact. “Available now” is not a guaranteed arrival time.

Pricing

Urgent price ranges and other estimates are indicative. The final job amount is confirmed through the completion workflow and presented to the customer for approval before payment.

Consumer rights

Nothing in this notice is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
